Meeting Information: The point and section for the GSSP of the Induan-Olenekian Boundary (Lower Triassic) has been debated for many years (e.g. see Albertiana volumes 29-37, 40 among many other papers). A new working group chaired by Charles Henderson is working toward resolving this long debate. To this end, members of the IOBWG have been invited to discuss the merits of proposed IOB GSSPs, particularly in light of recent new research – this will be the only topic to be discussed. Other STS members interested to attend or to provide opinions should contact Charles Henderson and Micha Horacek.
